Ten years after the Paris Agreement to curb greenhouse gas emissions and thus global warming, the United States is spending heavily on wars and fossil fuels instead of investing in climate solutions. The military industrial complex is also extremely carbon intensive, yet the Pentagon has been awarded an unprecedented trillion dollar budget, in addition to billions in foreign military financing.
