The Shawshank Redemption (1994) is a drama about Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins), a banker wrongfully convicted of murdering his wife, who endures decades of brutal imprisonment at Shawshank State Penitentiary. He forms a deep friendship with fellow inmate Red (Morgan Freeman), keeps hope alive, and secretly plans his escape while navigating corrupt guards and a tyrannical warden.

Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) are hitmen with a penchant for philosophical discussions. In this ultra-hip, multi-strand crime movie, their storyline is interwoven with those of their boss, gangster Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames) ; his actress wife, Mia (Uma Thurman) ; struggling boxer Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) ; master fixer Winston Wolfe (Harvey Keitel) and a nervous pair of armed robbers, Pumpkin (Tim Roth) and Honey Bunny (Amanda Plummer).

Despite being well into adulthood, brothers Doug (Chris Kattan) and Steve Butabi (Will Ferrell) still live at home and work in the flower shop owned by their dad (Dan Hedaya). They exist only to hit on women at discos, though they're routinely unsuccessful until a chance run-in with Richard Grieco (Richard Grieco) gets them inside the swank Roxbury club. Mistaken for high rollers, they meet their dream women, Vivica (Gigi Rice) and Cambi (Elisa Donovan), and resolve to open a club of their own.

What if I told you there was a movie written by Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale — the duo who would go on to create Back to the Future… directed by Steven Spielberg, fresh off the massive success of Jaws and Close Encounters… starring comedy legends John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, and John Candy… and scored by the music genius behind Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jaws, E.T., Jurassic Park — himself, John Williams? You’d expect a guaranteed blockbuster. Instead, what audiences got in 1979 was 1941 — Spielberg’s first spectacular misfire.

Back to the Future Part II (1989) follows Marty, Doc, and Jennifer as they travel to 2015 to save Marty’s kids, but their interference lets Biff steal a sports almanac and create a corrupt alternate 1985. To fix history, Marty and Doc return to 1955, weaving through events of the first film in a fast-paced, layered adventure about greed, fate, and the ripple effects of time travel.
