  • SAMANTHA W. of NBC's LOVE IN THE WILD
Samantha W. is a contestant on the NBC show, "Love in the Wild." She's sweet, smart, and put together. Not only are the guys going to go for her big time, she's the one viewers may fall in love with, too.
Hosted by Darren McMullen (Australian “Minute to Win It”), 10 single men and 10 single women, all looking for love, will experience a romantic adventure unlike anything they could have ever imagined.  These singles have tried it all – speed-dating, blind-dating, Internet dating -- and now, they’re headed deep into the remote jungles of Costa Rica to see if they can find that special someone they’ve been looking for.
In each episode, the couples will pair up in exhilarating quests that will push their bodies and their emotions to the limit.  Some of these include paddling down crocodile-ridden waters, navigating through bat-infested caves and hanging 200 feet above the rain forest floor as they descend down one of the most majestic waterfalls in Costa Rica.  These exploits will put their relationships to the test as they fall for each other in ways they never imagined.  Sparks will fly and hearts will break.
After each adventure, the winning couple will share a night together at the “Oasis,” a lavish, five-star bungalow overflowing with everything they could possibly desire for an intimate night of romance.  The remaining couples will stay with their partners in the less luxurious “Cabins,” where they will gather for a night of socializing.

  • COMEDIAN GEORGE WALLACE
Comedian George Wallace is this week's celebrity panelist on the NBC show, "The Marriage Ref."
Wallace’s break came in 1977 when one of his clients opened a comedy club. Amused by his natural humor and likeable personality, the owner offered him a chance to perform. Wallace walked on stage for the first time wearing a preacher's robe and called himself the Reverend Dr. George Wallace. His routine was completely improvised, yet it included the same imagery and delivery of the spiritual leaders who had influenced him as a child. Crowds loved him, so he stayed in New York for several years, perfecting his craft and living with friend and fellow comedian Jerry Seinfeld.
In 1978, Wallace moved to the West Coast, where he quickly became recognized as a talented young comedian. After one of his performances, producers from The Redd Foxx Show asked him to write for the popular series. He became a regular at the legendary Comedy Store and also took his comedy show on the road, opening for the likes of George Benson, Diana Ross, Donna Summer and Smokey Robinson.
Wallace’s unique brand of social commentary has proved popular with audiences for over 30 years now. Currently, Wallace has a headlining show at The Flamingo Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada that has entertained crowds since 2004. Additionally, he calls the Flamingo home and regularly spends time walking the hotel casino floor mingling with hotel guests. With routines inspired by everyday moments, Wallace continues to prove himself as a comedic legend.
