Glacial Tapes is BVSMV’s second EP for Triplicate Records and fourth overall. It picks up where the Float EP left off while both expanding BVSMV's sonic palette and streamlining his sound. With tracks bouncing from dream pop and shoegaze to the sounds from the retro synthpop scene, Glacial Tapes has a gigantic sound, slimmed down into nostalgic electronic pop nuggets.

Track 4 of the new EP "Float" by BVSMV on Triplicate Records. This release finds BVSMV at his most bombastic, retro, and poppy all at the same time as he takes you through his alternate past dream world, where shimmering synths, drum machines, bursts of guitar and filtered delays are an everyday occurrence. “Skies” is the debut LP from Milwaukee based producer BVSMV. After three EPs honing his sound, "Skies" is an aural journey consisting of warm 80s sounding analog synths and drum machines, processed guitars, and ambient soundscapes over the course of 11 tracks. The sound aims to be big and cinematic: large shimmering reverb and long delays that drift off into the distance. Like his name (which stands for bicycle versus motorvehicle) the goal of "Skies" is to make you FEEL. Even as things seem dark, there is always light around the corner. Whether it be a shifting cloud, or a clear star filled night, we all have been mesmerized by just looking towards the sky.
