In Mark 2:1-12, we meet a man who is paralyzed and brought to Jesus by his four friends in a creative way. Jesus commends the friends for their faith and heals the man. This story teaches us that God responds to the faith of others on behalf of those who are struggling. And yet, this story ultimately points us to the authority and compassion of Jesus.
