Happy Tuesday BTW fam! This episode was your favorite episode of last year. So i thought, "why not upload it again for you guys!" If you've already listened to it, give it another try. There may be something you need to hear that you missed the first time!
In the weeks episode, "comfortable sin", I talk about how we often will run back to sin because the process to freedom is uncomfortable or too hard. Y'all remember the Israelites in the wilderness? They constantly complained to Moses wishing to be back as slaves in Egypt because the journey to freedom was unknown, uncomfortable, and too hard. And it got me thinking, what is our Egypt? What sins do we keep running back to that harm us because they are familiar? Do we keep running back because the process of becoming free of that sin is too daunting and requires too much of us than we are willing to give? God has so much more for you. God's desire is for you to be free from living as a slave to your sin, but it's not just a desire, if you partner with Him, it will be a reality. But, it's not always easy. It requires discipline, effort, and desire, but with God ALL THINGS are possible.
So let's get right in to this weeks episode, "comfortable sin"!

Happy Tuesday BTW fam!
In today's episode we will talk about one of the most confounding questions most people have when it comes to God. Why does God allow suffering? I believe that while God's original design was not for us to endure suffering, because of sin that brings about such things, it entered into the world and now it saturates our lives. But we know God is a good and loving God, so what is the reason for why He allows suffering to persist? Join me as we look to the Scriptures to answer just that. I will never claim to have all the answers, especially to such a weighty question as this, but I do want to open up space for discussion on hard topics where we can learn and grow. So let's jump into this week's episode!

Have you ever looked in the mirror and hated what you've seen? I think we all have. So then how do we gain a biblical body image of ourselves that allows us to view our bodies the way God does while also leaving room for growth and development? In this weeks episode we will discuss the spiritual and physical aspects of gaining a biblical view of our body that will lead us into admiration of our bodies instead of hate. Our bodies were made for so much more than to simply look good and when we truly understand those purposes, we will begin to appreciate the beauty and complexity of our bodies, leading us away from self deprecation.

Happy Tuesday BTW fam!
Todays episode looks a little different. A few weeks ago I got to opportunity to preach about prayer in spiritual warfare and I wanted to share it on here as an episode! Spiritual warfare can seem terrifying and daunting especially when we don't know how to defend ourselves or fight for ourselves. In this sermon I cover 5 different expressions of prayer that give us the ability to clothe ourselves in the armor of God and stand firm in Christ so that we may have victory in the war! I am so passionate about this topic as I have personally experienced the power of prayer in terms of spiritual warfare and I am so excited to share this with you. So grab your Bibles and let the episode begin!

There has been a recent rise in the normalization of immodesty within the church and we need to talk about it. Modesty is a very sensitive, yet extremely important topic and so my goal with this episode is to gracefully expose the immodesty that is presenting itself and hopefully encourage each of you to walk in a manner worthy of our calling. There is no condemnation in anything I say only a deep love for all of you! But immodesty must be confronted. Let's all look to the scripture to find what it has to say about modesty and how we can best honor God with what we wear!
Happy Tuesday BTW fam! I've been MIA for a minute but I am so pumped to be back! And I am so excited for this weeks episode.
Have you ever been scared to talk to others about Jesus? Scared of what they will think, what they will say, or maybe you just don't feel qualified enough to tell others about it. I've been there too. In todays episode I talk about my own struggles with this fear and what has helped me to overcome it. As followers of Christ we have now received a new calling, to go into all the world and share the Gospel, but we often times become to fearful of rejection, failure, or lack of knowledge that we shy away from that calling. I want to help you to overcome that fear and step fully into the purpose and calling God has placed on your life. So let's dive in to todays episode!!

In this weeks episode we will look at Scripture to answer that for us because the answer is clear! We will answer questions like, "how do I know if my desires are from God?" "How do I give up an ungodly desire" and "What do I do if my desire is godly, but it's not been fulfilled?" So let's go ahead and hop into this weeks episode!

Happy Tuesday BTW fam!
When our schedule begins to fill up and the pressures of the world begin to press down on us, our time with God is often the first to go. But what we see modeled by Jesus is that when the world around Him grew louder and people demanded more of Him, the more He withdrew to a quiet place to pray and be with the Father. So how do we live a life where our time with God actually increases when our schedules become more packed? In this weeks episode we will tackle that exact question. In todays hustle culture it is so easy to drown in the unending to do's, but your sacred time with the Lord shouldn't have to take a back seat. So join me this week as we talk about tips to prioritizing alone time with God that will lead to a deeper relationship no matter what your schedule looks like!

Have you ever noticed how your physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional health are all tied together. Where one is affected, all the others are as well. In this episode my sister, Sydney, joins us to talk about the correlation between our physical and mental health with our spiritual health. When we take good care of our body and mind, our spiritual health WILL thrive, but when we neglect to take care of our body and mind, we begin to feel distant from God or spiritually dry. Do you ever notice that? I do. Sydney has spent year researching the effects food and movement has on our body and she is here to share everything she has learned in hopes that this will give you the clarity you need to begin healing your body. So let's hop in to this weeks episode!
