The 2020 MLB Playoffs have shown quite quickly to be agents of chaos and Colin and Trevor are here to talk about it. From the unjust seeding format to teams woefully disappointing in the Wild Card round, we talk about all of the comings and goings of the playoffs to this point (Wednesday evening) and further promote the legend of Gio Urshela.

With the season winding down, Colin and Trevor give their selections for end of the season awards (MVP, Cy Young, Rookie of the Year, Manager of the Year) and discuss the reasoning for each pick. Fair warning, there are also quite a few tangents taken surrounding the awards process as a whole so this is a bit of a long one.

MLB won't hold their mid-season showcase for the first time since 1945. Nevertheless, Colin (@C_Hechta) and Trevor (@TREVORutley) filled out their hypothetical ballots for the season's best contributors through the 1/3 mark. Who was deserving but left at home or undeserving and elected by us?

Our favorite plays, new cult heroes, and fantastic starts of the week that was. Then, of course, we throw it all away by taking a quiz where we psyched ourselves into failure.

Colin and Trevor delve into the messy first week of the baseball season from the Marlins potentially sending the entire league into freefall to Rob Manfred once again being the lead blocker for the Astros with his suspension of LA's Joe Kelly. All that and Mr. Hecht trying not to blow a gasket over his Quad-A Red Sox on Episode 2 of Opposite Field!

I really contemplated deleting this audio altogether and starting from scratch. In the end, I felt it was unfair to two people who altered their schedules to fit mine and then I showed up like Jake Roberts at Heroes of Wrestling. Pair that with my NetZero internet connection turning my audio into a garbled Gulf War radio broadcast (that I was too drunk to realize was a "me" problem and not one of my guests), my horrible mouth sound effects, and me sniffling worse than Ellis from Die Hard, this is a rough listen.
