Little Crumbs

bye strawberry, i'll see you in the jam!

Listen Later

This week we interviewed Kotryna (Kots) all the way from London (thank you zoom!) Our language extraordinaire told us all about why slurs matter and the impact translation has on changing meanings of words. Who thought you could study the philosophy of swear words, with a thesis titled "C U Next Tuesday"! Met and Til muse on the emerging use of pronouns in our own lives and work, as a real-life example of the power of language, and how it can influence our reality. Of course, a little crumbs podcast wouldn't be complete without mention of our texts with our parents .... we hope they learn that 'LOL' doesn't mean 'Lots of Love' sometime soon. P.S. well done Melbourne, proud of all you vaccine legends x
