If your backlog isn't big enough already, Game Pass is getting a huge infusion of games this year from the ID@Xbox program.

Colby: Monster Sanctuary, Moonlighter

Cliff: Wreckfest, Feynx Rising

DA VINSTER: We're getting a mortal Kombat movie, last of us tv show, etc. What other video game would fit a good tv show/movie medium?

Squid: What’s a game you’ve tried to replay the most but haven’t been able to get into it?

Rdeacon: With all the free games, including things like Game Pass, do you really see the need to ever purchase a game?  And with the rise of Game Pass and PlayStation Now, do you see all future gaming companies going to a subscription model?

ShadoughX (Josh): Fun question time: What/ who is an artist or band that you listen to that falls outside the realm of your normal/ favorite genres that others may judge you for =)?

I’ll go first: Hilary Duff

There's a pretty solid-looking rumor going around that Sony is going to dump the PS4, Vita and PSP online stores, which we decided is...bad.

DA VINSTER: What game didn't click for you at first, but upon second, third, fourth chance it did? Why do you think that's the case?

Cliff: At what point do you think game developers will have to start taking things like xCloud into consideration when developing games. I’ve been playing “Fenyx Rising” a bit on my phone and the UI just doesn’t work as well on the small screen.

Princess_Megan: Games have evolved to allow people to play anything from the mundane of Babysitter or Farmer to the more adventurous of choices such as Gangster or Demon Hunter. What is your favorite in game career and which game would you like to perform it in?

Rdeacon: So if you had to pick an occupation ( not what you are currently doing ) ... what would it be?

Sony Play at Home:

The first nine games will be available for free to own and download starting next week on March 25.

Then, starting April 19:

The first nine games will be available for free to download until April 22 and Horizon: Zero Dawn will be available until May 14.

Apparently, when you get laid off from Activision Blizzard you get 90 days of severance, a year of insurance and...

DA VINSTER: With the recent finalization of the Bethesda deal with Xbox, seeing all the games coming to Game Pass and the gaming community playing these games, and now more and more people realizing how good Game Pass is, do we finally see a reaction to this from Sony? Do they acquire more studios, do they double down on PS Now, or do they keep doing what they've been doing?

Rdeacon: As a gamer....If you had to lose a finger which one would it be?

Princess_Megan: What is your favorite mobile game?

Alan S (zeroskill): What would be your ultimate gaming basement setup, ignoring all costs. Expanding on that, what would you like in the future, and what would have been the coolest set up when you were say, 12 years old?

Kim Cruz: When covid ends and everything open up without restrictions like before, what is the first thing you wanna do?

Ben: Thoughts on Haven and exclusive PS5 IP? (Context: https://www.fanbyte.com/news/jade-raymond-forms-new-studio-haven-partners-with-sony-for-first-game/)

Brooke: Real books or eBooks? What’s your favorite book?

It looks like we'll be seeing a new Nintendo Switch this year, with a fancy 7" OLED screen and docked 4k output. Will you be making the upgrade?

Colby: Spiritfarer, Far Cry Primal

SweatySpookz: Question for the show: In your guys’ opinion, what makes a good streamer & what do you enjoy about streams? Is it the game, the broadcaster, both?

Elfsawrath52: Other than your monitor/keyboard/mouse. What's a really good thing to have on your desk

Squid: What’s something you’ve bought recently and up until this point you’ve never realized you’ve needed but now realize it’s awesome?

Brooke: If you could eliminate one chore from your life, what would it be?

Princess_Megan: What is your favorite day of the week and why?

DA VINSTER (Vinny): How do you think XCloud will compare to Stadia when XCloud is a fully released project?

In a surprise announcement, Epic Games has purchased Fall Guys developers Mediatonic.

What We're Playing

Cliff: Desperados 3, Maneater

DA VINSTER (Vinny): Mediatonic purchased by Epic Games. How do you see this going for Fall Guys? Pros and Cons? Do we see the same crossover potential that we have in Fortnite with Fall Guys.

F3ar13: If gambling money is involved, what game can you confidently say you can beat the majority/all of the host/people on discord.

Elfsawrath52: How does gaming improve hand-eye coordination?

Tr1pletrouble88: Take your least favorite video game genre, what would you do to make it a game you enjoy?

Rdeacon: What feature would like to see in a controller?

Princess_Megan: Which upcoming game are you looking forward to playing the most? My inner child is looking forward to partying like it's 1999 again with the new Pokemon Snap.

Also Rdeacon: What are your feelings about in-game advertisements, like product placements, billboards etc, and do you think this is going to be something that is more prevalent in future games?

Brooke: Do you like cold pizza?

I can't say this enough, go watch the trailer for Balan Wonderworld. There aren't enough drugs in the world to have it make sense.

Apparently, Grand Theft Auto 5 is causing a rash of carjackings in 2021, eight years after it was released. And because of that, the Deer Hunter games might soon be illegal in Chicago.

Colby: Crashlands, Spiritfarer, Roombo: First Blood, One Leaves

Cliff: The Medium, Sundered, Carto, Maneater

Dylan: The Witcher 3

DA VINSTER: We just saw the announcement of Days Gone, a PS4 Exclusive making its way to PC this Spring. We've now seen it happen with Xbox going full PC day one with their exclusives. PlayStation has now ported Horizon Zero Dawn to PC and now Days Gone to PC come this Spring. Is there a future where we see PlayStation having the same strategy as Xbox and releasing all their first-party games day and date on PC? And if you think so when do you think it'll be?

Elfsawrath52: Who's the best Robin? 1, 2, 3, or 4?

Rdeacon: So who do you feel has a better approach ... Nintendo that doesn't strive for the highest performance benchmarks but works to develop a console that potentially has a wider appeal by less console churn and lower prices OR Xbox/PlayStation that is always trying to push the bar on performance with higher-priced units?

Nintendo had its first Direct in a long while and announced some cool stuff...and some other stuff.

What We're Playing

Colby: Crashlands, Bartlow’s Dread Machine, Wilmot’s Warehouse, Mekorama

Cliff: The Medium, Sundered

Dylan: Immortals Fenyx Rising

DA VINSTER (Vinny): Classic question, what game do you want to see get a full from the ground up remake of?

Princess_Megan: What is one weird thing about the area you live in? For example, in NE Ohio we generally talk about the distance to locations in terms of minutes/hours, not miles.

Rdeacon: I have an oddball one. So HS friend posted he broke his favorite spatula.. I was like really.. then I realized I had a favorite spatula as well.  So if you cook what is your favorite spatula?

Princess_Megan: Who is your favorite Mario Kart character and why?

Tr1pletrouble88: What new release that you know of, do you think would win GotY

Game Pass:

Is there any way that we could ban console scalping and not screw it up somehow? Probably not.

Megan: This Sunday is Valentine's day, I thought I'd ask something fitting for the holiday. All three of you have been with your wives for a while, what is your favorite thing about them?

F3ar13: For next week as well, who's your gaming waifu?

Tr1pletrouble88: Favorite sea animal?

Rdeacon: What do you feel makes a good boss level?  What makes a bad one?

Elfsawrath52: What's the best mario game v the worst one. Based on story, graphics, and how many times yoshi shows up?

BIG CHAPPIE: Best home base/hub world? Peaches Castle in Mario 64, the Normandy from ME, and Sanctuary from Borderlands to name a few. Bases/hubs can be fairly different in some games so this should maybe be two questions.

JoeColeslaw: Getting back into battle royal. What is your strat back in the day when you played... would you ever think about getting back in it?
