BZPowercast

February always goes by so fast, between Toy Fair and those few less days, it's here and gone before you know it. But that's no excuse for no Powercast! We start this month's episode out with a discussion of the big event with McSmeag, where we give you the details on the new sets and let you know what really caught our eye. Then McSmeag and Makaru tell you all about BBC Contest #61. Following that (and it wasn't easy to do), Kaiapu, Deevee, and I talk about all the things we remember about BZPower from back in the day, before it was even BZPower. Things get wrapped up with another music time with Smeag. Enjoy the big two-oh show!

It's time for our first podcast of 2011 and I think this may be one of our best yet! We kick off the the new year with a discussion of the rebooted BZPRPG with Friar Tuck and Emzee. Than the Moa then returns for How-To BZP where we cover three things you shouldn't do on BZPower. After that we have a surprise interview that I hope you all enjoy - I had a great time sitting down with our esteemed guest. Things get wrapped up with an Andrew and Andrew recording straight from the vaults (maybe it should have stayed there). Hope you're all enjoying 2011 - next month we'll get to discuss Toy Fair!

2011 is almost upon us and the staff thought that we should look back at 2010 and what a great year it's been. I start out talking to Hahli Husky and Janus as we look through some of the major highlights of the year and talk a little bit about what next year may bring. Then, we asked you, the members, what your favorite memories of 2010 were, which we're now sharing with you. There were a bunch of excellent replies. Finally we close out the year with a recording from Andrew and Andrew.

The end of the month is here again, which means time for another BZPowercast. ChocolateFrogs and xccj ramble with me about the collectible minifigs which are not TLG's first blind-packed collectible. Then Hahli Husky guest-stars on a How-To BZP about advertising. After that, McSmeag, DeeVee, and Nukaya share their thoughts on the 2011 Hero Factory sets with me. Talk to you all next month!

The BZPowercast is back! It's Halloween, but that has absolutely nothing to do with what we discuss on the show. Things start off with some talk about the BZPRPG with Sisen, Nuju Metru, and Comrade Gato. Next Than the Moa does yet another How-To BZP. McSmeag and SPIRIT then come on to talk about death in the Bionicle universe. We wrap things up with the Taped Headphones' most recent recording. I hope you all enjoy it!

The BZPowercast is mixing things up again this time around, covering a more varied selection of topics than last month. We start off with another LEGO convention - xccj and Emperor Whenua talk to me about BrickCon 2010. After that, Than the Moa is back for another How-To BZP about a new rule on BZPower. Smeag and Hahli Husky then return to talk about stereotypes in Bionicle, especially the recent chapter of Yesterday Quest, and share their thoughts on that subject. Finally Music Time is back, but it's more than just Smeag! Enjoy the performance by the Taped Headphones (McSmeag and Hahli Husky). Come back next month!

BZPower went to BrickFair, and now we get to talk about it on the Powercast! The weekend was amazing, so amazing that we didn't have room for anything else in this episode of the show. Smeagol4 (McSmeag), Hahli Husky, Janus, Darth Vader (DeeVee), and Nukaya Cloud Fire all share their memories and thoughts on BrickFair 2010. Special appearances are made by Vezok's Friend and Dudebot5000. And of course there's a Music Time with Smeag (featuring Hahli Husky). I hope to see even more of you at BrickFair next year!

The Powercast celebrates its first anniversary! BZPower celebrates its ninth anniversary! It's a nonstop party! A whole bunch of people join me to talk about the past year and what it's meant for BZPower, the Powercast, Bionicle, Hero Factory, and who knows what else. Then Than stays around to talk about blogs on our How-To BZP. After that, Smeag comes back and is joined by Emzee to talk more about Hero Factory and its story. We wrap things up with a limited engagement performance of Music Time with Smeag and Black Six. Thanks for listening - hope you enjoyed it!

Our twelfth episode - almost at the one year mark! We start this month off talking about the new signature guidelines with Hahli Husky and Senjo. Than: Matoran of Anger then comes on to talk about revival and reporting PMs on How-To BZP. He sticks around and joins Smeagol4 to talk about the Bionicle Based Creations Contest - there's still time to enter! Finally, Smeag has a quite appropriate musical piece. Come back next month for our first anniversary show!

End of the month means another show! I think we hit a pretty comfortable length this time around, a good combination of content and fun! Janus and xccj start things out discussing the ups and downs of the storyline and how it's been good and bad. Than: Matoran of Anger joins us again for How-To BZP to talk about the RPGs in the Completely Off Topic forum. I sit down with Smeagol4 next to talk about BrickFair, which is only a couple months away. Things are wrapped up again with a new performance by Smeag during his Music Time. Enjoy the show!
