In this episode, we talk about memory, memories, forgetting and remembering. We will study some idioms, phrasal verbs, and collocations related to this topic, and we will also do some word formation practice. On top of that, given that we are talking about memory today, I'll share with you some of the strategies I use so as to remember new vocabulary and structures.

In this Episode, Christopher Walker from closelyobserved.com offers us some guidance on how to improve our writing skills for the C2 Proficiency exam (CPE).
About Christopher:
Christopher Walker is originally from Leicester in England, but for the past decade, he has been living in Bielsko-Biala, a city tucked into the bottom corner of Poland close to both the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He runs a website at www.closelyobserved.com, and a YouTube channel called Closely Observed English, which helps students learn more about English, and prepare for exams. He has also started another channel recently, Closely Observed Teaching, which, as the name suggests, focuses on the teaching side of EFL. He specializes in Exam Preparation, but he finds absolutely everything to do with English - the language and teaching - to be quite fascinating. He particularly enjoys using etymology to help students build their word power more effectively, whether they are studying for an exam or not.

This is a bonus episode (complementary to episode #5 Inversions party: Not only... but also) that contains only the sentences so you can practice at home. Enjoy!
In this episode, we talk about inversions and practice some transformations. In particular, we are going to work with the structure "not only... but also." This is the first of a series of episodes about inversions.

In this episode, we are going to discuss how to use the C2 word "albeit." We can usually substitute "although" and "though" with it, but is it always true? If you want to know, don't miss this episode!
