In this episode, I will talk about USB-C info. Nowadays many electronics devices such as smart phone, TV, gaming console, laptop, portable harddisk all use USB-C connectors and USB C cable. I will first give brief overview of different USB standards and their data rate such as USB1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2Gen1, 3.2Gen2, 3.2Gen2x2, 4.0, USB-PD. The voltages and power supported by USB-C standard (100Watts, max optional 240W). Limitations of iPhone 15 models data transfer capacity of their USB C, etc. I will also briefly tell the diff types of USB connectors -- USA TypeA, TypeB, miniA, microA, miniB, microB.
I originally wanted to make a video of it with all hardware pictures. But it will take lot of time to find the right copyright free picture of them and use it to avoid any youtube copyright issues.
