How do we sustain passion in a world that is constantly trying to distract us and take our attention? Revelation 2 looks at the Ephesus church and how it started with such passion was changing the landscape of the city, became distracted and lost their first love. Jesus asks us to find our passion not in tasks, but in Him.

No-one likes being lost, and no-one wants to be lost. In Luke 15 we see that God cares and is interested in what is lost. So what can we do if we find ourselves Lost?

Greek mindset says "live for today for tomorrow we die", Hebrew mindset says "my life lives on after I die". Do we want to be people / a church that are only worried with how things are now, or do we want to be people / a church that leaves a legacy that goes further than what we were able to do in our own lifetime.

The legacy of Cornelius from Acts 10 is that his giving and prayer got the attention of God, who activated an unprecedented outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Gentiles. Our prayers and giving can direct the course of history.
