In today’s message Pastor Jeff shows us how being “God’s Chosen People” doesn’t always have any advantages. That just because you are a Christian doesn’t mean “everyone will be in love with me.” But God is always true to every word and promise He has ever made to us as Christians, and to His original chosen people, the Jews.

In this message Jeff shows us how we all long for security, financial, economic, health, national, all types of security for our lives.  An deep down we all have a longing for eternal security. A Christian we must understand that our security does not come from our heritage, from our self proclaimed title, or even our knowledge. It only comes from a genuine faith in Jesus Christ that is evident by our fruits, our deeds, our good works for God and His Kingdom.

In this message "the great theologian" Bob Marley helps Pastor Jeff teach us to “Judge Not” by our standards, but that God is The Judge and there are 6 foundational principles that God uses to judge us. When it comes to sin, we are great lawyers for our sins, and great judges when it comes to others sin. But ultimately, it is only God’s judgement that we should be concerned about.

In this message, Pastor Jeff finishes the first chapter of Romans and shares how God will give us over to our sinful desires unless we repent and turn away from those sins. And that we should not judge someone just because their sin is different than yours.

This week Pastor Jeff shares with us from Romans 1 that when we don’t worship GOD as the Creator, our worship then turns to something created. “They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served something created instead of the Creator”  Romans 1:25As a result, people,  “Claiming to be wise, became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man, birds, four-footed animals, and reptiles. Therefore God delivered them over in the cravings of their hearts to sexual impurity, so that their bodies were degraded among themselves. v. 22-24God’s judgment for our wickedness and godlessness is to give us what we want.
