Today begins the season known in the church as "Holy Week." Israel believed the Messiah would build or restore the Temple (Ps. 118:26) and He would defeat the Romans and restore Israel as a free nation, resulting in Peace. Jesus, the Messiah brings Political, Spiritual, Emotional, and Personal Peace.

What steps must we take to receive this Peace that He offers?

In this final message of our Exodus series, Pastor Greg takes us to the Book of Deuteronomy, Chapter 30. Which path will we take? As the Israelites are presented with a choice of which Path they will follow, Life(Blessings) or Death (Curses and Destruction). The obvious decision would be Life. However, what are the requirements in choosing Blessings? And no one would choose Destruction on purpose. But when we ignore the warning signs and this path looks promising, and choose what "looks" good. The majority of time everything goes south!

God had a plan for Israel, a dream of getting them to the promised land. But Israel broke the plan when they did not enter the land because of the negative report of the 10 spies. They lost their trust in God's word (plan). So What do we do when we are cause of breaking God's plan for us?

Pastor Zack widens the perspective of the events contained in Israel's experiences on the way to the Promised Land. As he details the events, he wisely relates it to our faith journey. A key point is: "When what we see doesn't line up with what is promised, we have to make a choice!"

Will we walk by faith or by sight?

God is always at work even when we don't see Him. Pastoe Greg teaches from Exodus 33 and 34 to demonstrate how Prayer as Intercession is standing in the gap for another person or group. Moses' actions in these two chapters illustrates for us the much broader meaning of just following a list of prayer requestsduring a time of prayer.

What do you do when you find yourself in a situation of waiting? Do you muster up your determination and try to take control, or do you press into your relationship with God.
