You were made for greatness, but there are things in your life that will trip you up and keep you from the life God created you to live. In our last week of the G.O.A.T., Jimmy shares with us the #1 thing that will cause us to stumble.

God has put something within all of us that desires to live a life of significance. But, being great isn't something we can do, it's something God does through us. We have to be forgiven, focused, and fearless to see God doing something great with our life.

The true greats in life are those who, even if they lose hope, never lose their faith. These people are great because the difference between average and great is how you choose to serve in the wait. No matter what you are facing today, remember that God is still good, He's still powerful, and He still loves you. Even if you can't figure out what He's doing, you can still have faith in Him.

Whether it’s in music, politics, or sports, people love debating who’s the greatest of all time. Who’s the G.O.A.T. Many can be great, but only one can be the greatest. History is filled with men and women who have done incredible things and lived extraordinary lives. But, according to Jesus, there’s one person that stands above them all. Jesus said there has never been anyone greater than John the Baptist. He’s the GREATEST of all time. He’s…the Goat.

"The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to the inmost parts." Gossip can be enticing, but it will also damage the person being gossiped about, the hearer of the gossip, and the person spreading gossip. The best way to stop gossip is to guard your ears and shut your mouth.

Most of us claim to hate being lied to, but, for people who say we hate lying, we sure do a lot of it. We lie because we are selfish. When we lie and deceive, we prove that what matters most to me is me. Unfortunately, sooner or later, our sin of dishonesty will destroy everything that's good in our life. We need to move from tearing people down to build ourselves up to being honest with each other...because we're all in this together.

Are you a fault finder or a hope dealer? Our words can bring life or can bring destruction. Our words are powerful. Even the seemingly small things we say can offer tremendous hope or do incredible damage. How critical are your words?

When we complain, we become more and more negative and push people away. We don't actually fix anything when we just complain about it. But, God wants us to complain to Him because, if we don't work things out with God, we will take them out on someone else.

Understanding the Bible becomes a whole lot easier when we realize that it's all about Jesus.

Most of us know we should read and learn the Bible, but it can be intimidating to know how to actually study it. Jimmy shares how we should approach reading the Bible by remembering that God wants something before for us, obedience + faithfulness = success, and greater commitment requires greater commitment.
