After emerging from the waves of suffering and being placed on the high ground, David reflects back and sees our God as the Great Deliverer who is near to His children, for the righteous, and against the wicked--driving him to praise, obedience, and confidence.
Passage: Psalm 34

Too often the church fails to provide space to lament, leading many of us to pretend that life is good and faith is easy. This sermon is for the person in the darkness who is navigating the dark night of suffering, the dark night of the soul, and the dark night of our faith---and serves as a reminder that faith can look different in different seasons.

God is speaking all around us, yet we are often deaf to his voice.  Awaken to the sound of God's voice all around you as we explore Psalm 19 together.

In this missional psalm, we are encouraged to drink deep of the heart of God for the nations so that our cup runs over in praise to God and passion for the global reach of the gospel.

The psalmist invites the community of the redeemed to drink deep of the character of God and overflow in vocal and public praise to God. Come and be reminded of the reason for a pattern of praise!

In this confessional psalm, David gives us a model of prayerful, sincere, faith-based, open-handed repentance from sin, and shows us that anyone can drink deep of God's forgiveness through repentance.

Passage: Psalm 51

We've been banished from the garden of Eden.  We all long to return, but so often look to the wrong places.  Psalm 1 helps us see that we can return to the garden through delighting in God's Word and meditating on it day and night.

Just like King David in this lament psalm, many of us face valleys of deep darkness and fear. In overwhelming situations, we learn from David who recalls the faithfulness of God and confidently prays to the God of His Salvation.

In this beloved psalm of confidence, King David reminds us that we should drink deep of God because He is our Provider, our Protector, and our Pursuer.
