In this episode, I reflect on friendships, relationships, and the kinds of people we allow into our lives.
A conversation with a friend made me realize how much life experiences can change the way we see love, support, connection, and emotional capacity.
We talked about conditional love, overgiving, people-pleasing, and how exhausting it can be to constantly try to earn belonging through caring for everyone else.
I also share the three types of people I’ve started noticing in relationships:
• those who only talk about themselves,
• those who communicate their limits honestly,
• and those who are genuinely curious, engaged, and committed to mutual growth.
This one is about paying attention to who enters your life, what you tolerate, and what healthy connection actually feels like.
