A new report by the Sikh Federation has detailed the role of the arms trade in the UK government's decision to support the repression of Sikhs in India and the UK. Campaign Against Arms Trade spoke to Phil Miller, the author of the report, and Pav Singh, the author of '1984: India's guilty secret'

One of the world's biggest arms fairs came to London in September and hundreds of protestors took part in a week of action attempting to block its set-up. In this episode, we explain what an arms fair is and why they're wrong - and talk to some of those who campaigned against DSEI.

In the first episode of the CAAT Podcast series, we introduce the UK's arms trade. What arms does the UK produce? Who do UK companies sell arms to? And what is the role of the government in the arms trade?

Joining us to introduce these issues are two leading academics: David Wearing, who is working on a book about UK-Saudi-Gulf relations, and Anna Stavrianakis, author of 'Taking aim at the arms trade, NGOs, global civil society and the world military order'.
