It's been a while since we've released a new episode of Cabin Conversations. It's not because we've forgotten about you, there's just been a lot happening around Woodlands Church. We've still got more episodes coming in the near future, but for now, check out this short update for what's going at church! 

Where Dave, Whitney and Jed sit down to talk favorite candy, the value of Christ-centered conversations, Lord of the Rings and the Bible quotes, and the eternal value of those who bear the image of God. They laugh a lot, and discuss grace and truth and how they play out in everyday life, and the importance of not moralizing parables. Jed encourages us that, "when we stand in our righteousness in Christ, our focus stays on Jesus. 

Where Whitney, Dave and Belinda sit down and talk about Going in the world today. They discuss Marvel, Star Wars, and Star Trek, and the importance of praying, being present and proclaiming the truth, as well as the power of personal testimony - and sharing specifically about who God is. 

Where Dave, Whitney and Justin talk through Sunday's sermon about gathering in large and small groups. They discuss the ongoing importance of small groups, but wrestle with the unique power of music to form how we think about God in large groups (and how that can be a bad thing!). They talk through controversial worship lyrics, and cookie dough comes up AGAIN. And, they introduce a brand new segment - 'Marvel or The Bible?'! Not surprisingly, Justin sets a high score (the previous high score was 0).
