Proverbs 3:5–6 says…

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not learn on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. May we remember this truth in moments when we do not know that to do.

What you are about to listen to are thoughts that were recorded in the month of June 2021. 

The general setting:

Uganda just like several other countries is under strict regulation to help curb the rapid spread of the Covid-19 Virus that can made many extremely sick and several friends have lost their loved ones. 

And now here begins my journal when I found out that my 79 year old mom had tested positive. The level of difficulty every one has had to go through varies per individual. But I believe God is able to carry each one of us through life’s difficult moments. This is only but a personal testimony. I hope you will be encouraged.

Mediocre Devotion is no devotion at all. We tend to cruise through our walk with the Lord. Do what’s expected and a standard lower. Show up to church but show up late, talk about sharing the gospel but never actually do, ...give excuses for our under “performance” in the things of God. Other things take justified priority. Dr. John Norris has been a cardiologist (heart doctor) for more than 25 years and a Christian for almost 50 years. During that time “Dr. John” has extensively studied the physical (natural) and spiritual (supernatural) aspects of the heart. The Bible has more than 1,000 references to the heart, and according to Scripture, the heart is the most important part of every human being.

On Monday, May 3, we defined the heart and tried to understand how the physical and spiritual aspects of the heart relate. The human heart was reviewed and defined as the “organ which allows a man to see God.” God’s view of the human heart was reviewed from the Scriptures, and the importance of using the heart to love was the focus.
