It is a lot easier to go through each day when we have a proper perspective. So much of this life is about having a positive outlook, from God’s perspective. When times are rough, in order for you to be able to comfort yourself and say with confidence “yeh, it’s hard but God”, you need to set your mind on things above, not on the circumstances around you.

Reality is that God alone knows what lies ahead for us in 2022. In many respects, we will be 'boldly going where we have not gone before'. Just as we live every day, every moment, we walk by faith not by sight. There are three basic concepts that will give you encouragement in the new year to come. These include faith, hope and love.

God is with us…joy to the world, the LORD is come! For those of us who have received Him as our savior and King, we can’t imagine life without Him. And we don’t want to even imagine what our lives would be like if He had not come.

Today is a celebration of worship and praise! Throughout scripture we are told to worship God, King of Kings and LORD of lords. And to praise Him with our whole heart, endless praise.

Being ‘saved’, becoming a Christian is vitally important to your eternal destiny. One of the reasons that God has provided His word, the Bible is to let you know how He loves you and has prepared a way for you to enjoy heaven with him forever.

Folks, I encourage you to thank God today for all those things that are “Certain”. There is a long list of things we are thankful for that are uncertain, not guaranteed to last. As we celebrate Thanksgiving, be sure to thank God for what He has blessed us with that are absolutely certain, guaranteed, and some are eternal.

Saying 'good bye' to friends and relatives is something we do quite often. And then there are the sad realities of saying good bye to loved ones as their death is imminent or at a memorial service. Well, be encouraged, Heaven will be a very long ‘hello’!

When you find yourself listing all the reasons that you can’t do something that you sense God wants you to do, remember God’s question to Moses (actually in the form of instructions). There will be times when that will happen to you. You and I will come up with questions, concerns and reasons we should do something else or nothing at all. That’s when we should “look what God has put in our hands”.

This devotional reminder is for those of us who deal occasionally or sometimes very often with the “What If” question. That’s a question that comes to mind with mostly negative fears.
