Recently, we’ve seen both men behave very questionably for all of the world to see. Some see their behavior as a clear cry for help, others see their behavior as an indicator of how status and money trumps all accountability. On this episode we’re discussing how Will and Kanye’s public outburst mean so much more than just a slap and wife slander–their behavior raises serious questions about what’s really going on with black men, with black celebs, and their psyche.

After viewing the highly inappropriate interview with Stevie J that went viral a few weeks back, we felt an urgency to talk about today’s topic of consent. As women, we’ve had countless experiences where men either ignored or assumed consent for us. In order to get a clearer picture on what consent really is, we are defining consent and what it looks like to give and receive the okay to proceed in the space of others. Most of us have been taught that higher education is the only surefire pathway to success.
