Cafecito Break

Shadow banning (also called stealth banning, ghost banning or comment ghosting[1]) is the act of blocking a user or their content from an online community such that the user does not realize that they have been banned. By making a problem user’s contributions invisible or less prominent to other members of the service, the hope is that in the absence of reactions to their comments, the problematic user will become bored or frustrated and leave the site.[1 Source: Wikipedia Are you noticing the changing algorithms on Facebook? Have you heard about the report by Project Veritas about Twitter shadow banning? Are you noticing how people are getting their channels deleted and or blocked? Should we be concerned? Join us for this very important conversation about social media and the way we use them to communicate with others. We invite you to listen below. "Where there is no human connection, there is no compassion. Without compassion, then community, commitment, loving-kindness, human understanding, and peace all shrivel. Individuals become isolated, the isolated turn cruel, and the tragic hovers in the forms of domestic and civil violence. Art and literature are antidotes to that." -Susan Vreeland
