Meet Jefa: Andrea Bayon - Mar Y Sol Therapy & Wellness
Andrea (she/her/ella) is a Latine somatic trauma therapist who offers resources and support to those in search of holistic healing through body-centered practice. In a therapeutic setting, Andrea utilizes a variety of somatic (body-centered) approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual or group. Specialties include those who are experiencing anxiety, panic, depression, grief & loss, chronic illness, OCD, PTSD, physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual abuse or neglect, experiences of immigration, and identity work. Andrea also specializes in working with those who identify as Latine/x, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, parents/caregivers of young children, sex workers, and survivors of complex trauma.
Outside of therapy, Andrea seeks to disrupt oppressive systems by supporting the innate healing and well-being of other healing practitioners, and their communities. Areas of expertise and passion include:
