June 15th marked the official start of the Monsoon Season in Arizona and CAFMA is offering sand and sandbags at several fire stations to residents of Yavapai County. While the weather is dry as normal in the early monsoon season, CAFMA recommends preparing now for the flooding that could come when the wet weather of monsoons begins to roll in. Sand and sandbags are available at several fire stations around the county, all you need to do is bring a shovel. Sandbags are available at the following locations: Station 54 - 13155 E.
