for this week on vibes I'll be doing a song by adele who is in fact one of my favourite artists in the world.

Most of Adele's songs are about heartbreak and this one is also among them.

The first time i listened to this song, i heard the beautiful melody. The second time i listened to it, i heard the lyrics. The most beautiful thing about music is that it is a language that is not spoken yet can be heard and understood by everyone. music is universal

I'm sharing my own version of this song by adele spoken in my own language.

This is my first entry in afritunes and for this week competition, I'll be doing a song cover by ayrra starr titles "rush".

we jave entered a new month and this month also marks a national new year for nigeria. Despite the hardships people are facing in the countey, their hope is still undiminished. with this thought in mind i chose this song by ayrra starr.

The song could be interpreted in many ways by different peopl and that is one of the beauties of misic as an art. my own unique interpretation of this song is that it talks about being able to rise up and succeed despite your haters. it is aboit being able to put aside the bad comments and to be able to focus on what matters to you as a. person.

" aint no getti time for the hate and the bad energy got my mind on my money"

this bar illustrates that perfectly. it makes emphasis on not giving a dime about what others are saying about you and doing what you know is best for you.

Ayra starr creates a masterpiece with this song. she is a remarkable artist of this 21st century. she may not be my favorite bit she definitely is one of the best in the world. Afrobeats has gone global because of artists like ayra starr ( if way dey sef e for reach out of apace enter anoda planet join😂).

I'm really happy and excited to share my own version of this materpiece with you guys on AFRI-TUNES. i hope this song reminds you to listen to yourself more and trust the process because sabi girls no dey too like talk

hi guys #vibes, its another wonderful week on vibes and I've been blown away by all the amazing entries.

This week, I'll be doing a song cover of a song by my ultimate favorite singer " billie eilish" titled " i don't wanna be you."

it's an amazing song and it talks about self love. it talks about how we shouldn't hate ourselves and want to be someone else.

i hope you enjoy the song as much as i did and still do.

Hey guys its another wonderful week on vibes and here i am again with yet another presentation. last week edition was a blast and we had the opportunity to meet a celebrity " sam feldt".

for this week, I'll be doing a song by katy Perry " the one that got away" but rather than the usual tempo, this is a slowed version. it is a song that centers around heartbreak and wishful thinking. my favourite part of the song is

" all this money can't buy me a time machine

i can't replace you with a million rings"

That part in particular always makes me cry whenever i listen to it because it hits me deep in my heart.

i listened to the song and i loved it more than i should, so here is my little version of this piece of art.

*Hey guys, it's another marvelous week on Vibes Web3 music Competition week#14 and I'm so happy to share my entry with you guys. For this week I'll be doing a song by Sam Feldt ft Joe Housely titled* **"Hide and Seek"**.

*For this week's competition, I'll be doing an Acapella version of the song majorly cause I couldn't find the instrumental online and partly because I have always wanted to try it on vibes at least once*.

*for this week we were asked to sing one of Sam Feldt's songs and I was so excited about it because I had been listening to this particular song (hide and Seek) on repeat for a week now and I was more than happy to do a cover of it. I do hope you enjoy my version of the song*

It's another wonderful and competitive week of vibes with a lot of amazing entries. For this week 12, I'll be doing a song cover by **Duncan Laurence titled Arcade**. The first time I listened to this song was a few years ago on " The Voice" and I instantly felt like it was speaking to me.

Although it's an old song, I want to try to revive that feeling I had when I first heard it on **"The Voice"**.

*The song uses an arcade as a metaphor to describe a broken heart and a pointless relationship*.

**"I've spent all of the love I saved

We were always a losing game"**

*This is my favorite line in the song as it delves into the deep and dark parts of relationships where one is left with no love to give and gives up eventually and finally admits to his/herself that the love affair was never going to work, to begin with. One way or another we've all experienced this, maybe not with a lover but with a friend or family member*.

*The song could be interpreted in many ways and that's the beauty of the language called music. I want to share this price with you for this week and I hope that you connect with it as much as I did and still do.*

**Lyrics**

*A broken heart is all that's left

I'm still fixing all the cracks

Lost a couple of pieces when

I carried it, carried it, carried it home

I'm afraid of all I am

My mind feels like a foreign land

Silence ringing inside my head

Please, carry me, carry me, carry me home*
