Calaveras County Council of Governments (CCOG) meeting of 8/7/2024
Calaveras County is located in the heart of the California Foothills. It is rich in Gold Rush history, beautiful landscapes, a lifestyle that many want to be a part of, and is home to the world famous Calaveras County Frog Jump Jubilee every May.
Calaveras Council of Governments (CCOG) meetings are generally held at 5:30pm on the first Wednesday of the month at the Calaveras County Government Center in San Andreas. All meetings are public.
The Calaveras Council of Governments (CCOG) was formed in January 1998 under a Joint Powers Agreement as the Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA) for the County of Calaveras and the City of Angels. As an RTPA, the Calaveras CCOG is the designated planning and administrative agency for transportation projects and programs in Calaveras County.
The formation of the CCOG was an effort to improve the transportation planning process in Calaveras County. The Council is made up of seven members – two Calaveras County Supervisors, two Angels Camp City Council Members and three public members.
