The Democrats' new voting bill, which I call the Permanent Democrat Majority Until The End of Time bill, would forbid every state in the union from requiring signature verification on any election form. Gov. Gavin Newsom is facing a recall in California, and state law requires that every one who signs his recall petition be a registered voter. In the fall election, 99.4% of all mail-in ballots were accepted because minimal signature verification was done. But on the recall petition, only 81.7% of signatures have been accepted as Newsom has his toadies scrutinizing every signature under a microscope. When it comes to voting, Democrats scream that signature verification is voter suppression. In California, apparently, voter suppression is in the eyes of the beholder.
