In episode 5, Amy introduces the process of how to connect to the heart system in order to process challenging experiences, ground our bodies to work through emotional dissonance. We discuss some challenges posed by the structure of modern society to connect to our heart system, but explain the electromagnetic power it contains and reasons for doing so regularly. In closing, Amy takes us through a guided meditation exercise to connect to our heart center in order to feel grounded and centered, setting the stage for us to receive nourishment and embrace playfulness. We discuss how this skill can be a useful tool for sensitive people and also the challenges it can pose. We also discuss the role of emotions and how we can use the information that emotions bring us for growth, maturation and transformation.

We delve deeply into key inflection points of our own lives that helped guide us to our callings in serving others on their journey to find their own.
