Welcome to the Halloween Special of Cállate! Let Me Finish!
This week, Reyna and Brenda are taking it back to the terrifying Mexican legends and childhood stories that had us sleeping with one eye open!
From La Llorona crying by the river to El Cucuy hiding in the dark and those mysterious little Chaneques… were these stories actually real, or were our parents just trying to scare us into behaving?
But because we can NEVER stay on topic, somehow we end up questioning EVERYTHING.
Can we actually tell a scary story without laughing?
Were the Mexican urban legends we grew up hearing based on something real?
ARE ALIENS REAL?!
And the biggest mystery of all… WHY THE HELL ARE WE DRESSED LIKE MEN?!
It’s spooky, it’s chaotic, it’s a little traumatic, and it’s giving Halloween con las comadres… pero versión bichachos!
Whether you grew up terrified of La Llorona, believed El Cucuy was under your bed, or still refuse to whistle at night, this episode is for YOU!
WE WANNA KNOW: What’s the scariest legend or story your parents told you growing up? Did you ever actually believe it? Drop your childhood trauma in the comments!
Subscribe to Cállate! Let Me Finish! for more Spanglish conversations about culture, childhood, relationships, motherhood, and all the desmadre in between.

At what age did we officially become the señoras we used to make fun of?!
Welcome back, BICHACHOS!
This week on Cállate! Let Me Finish!, we’re talking about all the things we are simply TOO OLD to deal with anymore. Because somewhere between our 20s and 30s, our patience disappeared, our backs started hurting, and staying home became our favorite plan.
From going out past 9 PM and dealing with toxic friendships to situationships, relationship drama, and the never-ending expenses of adulting… YA NO ESTAMOS PARA ESTAS MAMADAS!
We’re getting into the things we tolerated in our 20s that would have us saying “ABSOLUTELY THE FUCK NOT” today.
But is it really about getting older, or are we finally learning to protect our peace, set boundaries, and stop wasting energy on things (and people) that don’t deserve it?
Expect plenty of laughs, unfiltered opinions, a little chisme, and some uncomfortable truths. Because growing up is realizing that sometimes the best plan is NO PLAN AT ALL.
So grab your cafecito, your wine, or whatever gets you through adulthood, and come laugh with us!
BICHACHOS, WE WANNA KNOW: What’s something you used to tolerate that you absolutely REFUSE to put up with now? Drop it in the comments!

In this episode of Callate Let Me Finish, we’re talking about the heavy question so many of us struggle with: Do I have to forgive you?
We open up about holding on to rencor, carrying anger for years, and the emotional battle between protecting your peace or letting someone back in. Can you truly love someone while still feeling hurt by them? Is forgiveness necessary for healing… or is it okay to never fully let go?
From family relationships to childhood wounds, we dive into the complicated emotions that come with resentment, boundaries, guilt, and the fear of losing time with the people we love.
This conversation is raw, honest, and for anyone who’s ever struggled between staying angry forever or choosing connection before it’s too late.
Tune in and join the conversation — because sometimes the hardest thing to admit is that two feelings can exist at once: love and rencor.

Growing up fast isn’t something you choose… it’s something life chooses for you.
This episode is personal. We’re talking about what it really looks like when your childhood is shaped by your parents’ struggles with addiction—the responsibilities, the silence, the strength you had to find way too early.
Brenda is under the weather this week, but I’m not alone… I’ve got a special (and handsome ) guest joining me for this conversation.
If you’ve ever had to be strong before you were ready, if you’ve ever carried things you shouldn’t have had to… this one is for you
Tap in. Share with someone who needs to hear it.

This week on Cállate , we’re catching up on everything, from your reactions to our Tóxico episode to the highs (and lows) of our recent vacations. We also get real about the struggle of car maintenance and the everyday chaos that comes with it. It’s a mix of laughs, relatable moments, and honest conversations you won’t want to miss.
In this episode, we finally sit down with one of the most toxic men in Georgia and ask him everything we’ve always wanted to know. No filter, just straight chisme, laughs, and some very uncomfortable truths.
We get into relationships, red flags, cheating, why men do what they do, and we put him on the hot seat with real-life scenarios to see how toxic he really is.
If you’ve ever said “men make no sense”… this episode is for you. You’re gonna laugh, get a little triggered, and maybe even understand a thing or two.
Oh… and Brenda might be falling again so you already know it gets a little too real.
Welcome to El Hot Seat Tóxico… where we ask what everyone else is thinking.
