As we come up on a year of podcasting, we’re taking today to reflect on all we’ve learned in year one! We share what God has taught us through doing the podcast, some of our favorite memories that we have from this first year and how podcasting has changed some of how we read the Word. We open up about some of the mistakes we made along the way and how we learned from them moving forward. We also talk about how God has continued to shape our idea of being called versus being qualified and how we can be faithful in stepping into what God is asking of us. Happy new year everyone! Today on the podcast we are joined by Natalie’s cousin, Levi Cooper. Levi shares about how God has stepped into the role of his father since moving to college and what he’s been learning through this. We talk about the story of the prodigal son and how this story shows us the role of God the father. We also talk about how we can learn to trust God as our father and how we can seek teaching and discipline from him. Merry Christmas! On this week's episode we jump right in by talking about our favorite Christmas traditions and how we plan on spending our break. We then dive into the Christmas story, breaking it down by the different people in it. We talk about the significance of the shepherds being among the lowest of society, the symbolism of the wise men’s gifts, and how Mary and Joseph are a perfect example of being called by God but not being qualified. We end by talking about how the Christmas story only matters because of the ultimate ending and we break down the significance of John 3:16. Happy Thanksgiving! Today on the podcast we’re talking about our favorite Thanksgiving traditions, the best foods and pies, and whether or not Christmas music should be listened to before Thanksgiving. We explore a few verses on thankfulness and talk about a couple ways to implement gratitude into our daily lives. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday with your families!

Today on the podcast we are joined by Natalie's sister, Reagan Cocking. We start off with lots of laughs as Reagan and Owen talk about the current state of the Vikings and challege each other in their sports. We then jump into Reagan's favorite Bible story, Ruth, and discuss how this story parallels how Jesus is our redemeer and he can use our story for something good. We’re finally back to recording episodes and we’re so excited! Today we’re talking about what’s new in both of our lives and we talk a lot about what the start of college has looked like for both of us. We chat about our favorite classes, cross county, and some of our favorite things that have happened so far. We also talk about all that God has been teaching us since we went to school and how we’re seeing impacts in our faith. Lastly, we discuss how God is never changing and we explore the character of who he is in the Old Testament.

Today we are joined by special guests, Brooke Hunsley and Blaine Johnson. Brooke and Blaine tell us the story of how they felt called to lead a Bible Study in our community known as young adults group. They talk about the journey of why they started it, how they battled moments of feeling unqualified, and how it has and hasn’t been like they expected. We also discuss the importance of having a Christian community in your life and how saying yes to God can lead us to incredible things. Lastly, we talk about how fulfillment can only come from being rooted in Christ. We hope you enjoy!

We’re back for episode 2 of our mini series: “Mom advice!” Today we’re sitting down to talk with Owen’s mom, Karee, about her best advice. We start by talking about how being active, and doing it in community with others, can benefit all areas of your life. From there, we talk about the importance of being kind to others and how noticing the little things about others can make a big difference. Lastly, Karee talks about how important it is to listen to nudges from God and shares a couple examples of how this has played out in her own life.
