1 Corinthians chapter 1. Paul makes it clear what he was called by the Lord Jesus Christ to do. The defining of his ministry and ours as he reminds us that we are called to be saints and not sinners bearly surviving by the grace of God. The believer is to understand that he is no longer a sinner but that he/she are saints in Christ Jesus. A fundamental understanding of the scripture is vital to accurately understand and interpret the holy words of God. Knowing what God is saying and to whom is he speaking.
