I know it's almost the end of 2023 now, which is insane... BUT when the end of the year comes, that's typically when we start thinking about what the next year is going to look like.

And it's usually around this time that I start seeing everyone in the online space giving their own predictions for what they think is on the rise, or what to focus on in online business and marketing the next year. And I always find these super interesting, so I had to create one of my own, and continue with the annual podcast episode series since I DID create one of these last year (which by the way, that is episode 53, if you're interested in hearing my 2023 predictions).

That said, I came up with FIVE different predictions, or theories, on what I believe is going to become really popular and EFFECTIVE in 2024 that will help you with your marketing, your visibility, your social media content and your business growth.

But of course I have to add in a little twist, so I'm actually going to share with you how I plan on ADAPTING my own business to these 2024 predictions as well. So, that should tell you that I FIRMLY believe these predictions are accurate. Because I am making quite a few shifts in my own business.

How is it almost Black Friday? I mean, what in the world?! It still blows my mind that I feel like every year goes by just a little bit faster.

But that being said, since Black Friday is right around the corner, I know you are probably trying to determine what you want to offer for Black Friday, or if you even want to offer anything for Black Friday. Because now that it's right around the corner, you probably don't really have the time or the energy to actually create something brand new.

Am I right? I mean, it's the holiday season. You're wanting to be with family, and to be honest, it's just a busy time, right?

All that said, maybe you need and you want to have a highly profitable season, but the time and energy you need just isn't there.

Now if this is you, I get it.

I do want to preface this by saying that if you don't want to offer something for Black Friday, you do not have to. You have permission to run your business however you want, so you don't have to offer anything for Black Friday.

But on the other side of the spectrum, I know there are some business owners that thrive and absolutely love creating new offers all the time. And when Black Friday comes around, they get so excited because they can sell this new course, program or whatever they're doing. Or perhaps they have so many courses and programs that they are able to put several up for a deep discount. And that's awesome!

But maybe you are someone who doesn't have a whole lot of offers, or maybe you're someone who just doesn't have the energy to create all these offers, or create something new.

If this is you, I want you to know this is me too.

I am not one of those people who can just create offer after offer after offer. I don't want to, and THAT is okay. THAT is also AWESOME. It's important to play into your strengths here.

October 24, 202394 | Say Goodbye to Hustle Culture & Say Hello to a Faith-Fueled Focus as You Grow Your Business
If you are a Christian entrepreneur (or even if you're not an entrepreneur), I'm sure that you have come face to face with hustle culture and this ultimate STRIVING mentality, which is this urge to constantly do MORE and to be MORE.

I'll be the first to tell you that it's a good thing to want to better yourself, and to learn from past mistakes, but a big problem comes in when we become so OBSESSED with success and goals that we start IDOLIZING and WORSHIPING this concept of becoming “better” and so we can be the "best version of ourselves."

While I am an advocate for learning and growing, the self-development world can actually become a trap. Because the truth is, if we're not careful, we can unknowingly begin to worship doing more, which leads to ultimately worshiping ourselves, as opposed to worshiping the one true God.

We then start to think that all we have to do is become better and start "manifesting" our desires.

This is a topic very near and dear to my heart because I experienced this first hand.

Looking back, I had no idea I was worshiping success and I would probably have even argued that I didn't subscribe to hustle culture, even though I was burnt out all the time and absolutely exhausted.... And I really had NO idea I was seeking validation from the world. And I definitely didn't think I was trying to seek glory from my works, so of course I had no idea I made myself an idol.

But like I said, there is absolutely nothing wrong with learning from our mistakes and making better choices, but it's when we convince ourselves that WE are the answer, and that WE are the key to change, abundance, happiness, or freedom…

THAT is when we begin to subscribe to hustle culture and start idolizing our works, and ultimately ourselves.

But WE are not the answer.

Jesus is.

And we have to constantly CHOOSE to look at Him, because the world truly makes it so easy to look at ourselves.

We all experience some pretty difficult valleys, don’t we? Whether it be that nothing seems to be falling into place, or you’re working so hard and not reaping the rewards. Or you’ve been hurt, betrayed, or rejected, or perhaps you’re just in a really dark place and can’t seem to dig yourself out. Whatever the case may be, we’ve all experienced darkness, or a valley, in some way, shape, or form.

I have been through my fair share of valleys. Especially over the last few years that I’ve been an entrepreneur, They’ve been especially challenging. I’ve experienced seasons of dry spells where I had no idea what I was going to do financially. I’ve experienced so many doubts, thinking, “Oh my goodness, I have to go and get a full-time job.” I’ve experienced major rejection, betrayal, and slander. I’ve had seasons where I just felt so depressed that I felt like I just couldn’t do anything or show up in any capacity. The list could go on and on.

Throughout my own valleys, the Lord has remained faithful. He is still the Most High. He is still good. He is always good. And throughout my valleys, He’s really shown me how to trust Him even deeper. I’ve always said I loved Him. And I’ve always said I trusted Him. But He’s showing me how to love Him and trust Him even deeper.

The truth is, I spent the first 2-3 years of entrepreneurship fueled entirely by my flesh and my worldly desires. I subconsciously made my business goals my idol, which in turn affected my identity and my actions, and I didn’t even realize it.

Fortunately, after a powerful mental breakdown and identity crisis, Jesus restored me and I realized what I was doing. I was so obsessed with success that I was chasing my goals and my desires over chasing Him. At that time, I cared more about my business than I did about my relationship with Him (even though I would have never admitted that to myself, or anyone else). And because of that, God really had to work on me to restore my heart and bring me back to the feet of Jesus, so I could reclaim my identity and authority in Him.

The most remarkable thing is, the year that this spiritual breakthrough happened was the first year I had 6-figure business, which I know was no coincidence. But my heart had to be pure for this.

I wasn’t seeking Him so I could have a successful business. I was seeking Him solely to seek Him.

I had to purge the obsession I had over money and success before God opened that door.

I had to be satisfied and content with letting that dream go, and be fully satisfied in Him.

This breakthrough opened my eyes in more ways than one.

It helped me realize we live in a world that teaches us to fight all of our battles physically instead of spiritually.

We live in a world that teaches us that we always need to be searching for the next best strategy.

We live in a world that teaches us that we are the only ones who can fulfill the desires of our hearts.

But that’s not biblical truth.

We must learn to fight our battles spiritually instead of physically–especially the battles we face within ourselves.

We must learn to go to Jesus before we go to the next strategy.

We must learn that the only one who can fulfill our true wants and desires is Jesus.

Because no matter what the world says, we won’t be fulfilled by time or financial freedom. It will never be enough.

We will only be fulfilled with eternal freedom, and that comes from Jesus Christ.

This is the mission.

To be totally and completely fulfilled with Jesus, reign within self-sabotage and spiritual warfare, and take bold and obedient action on your God-given call to CEO.

Because I know what it feels like to work 24/7 on a dream or goal with little to nothing to show for it.

I also know what it’s like to continue doing the same self-sabotaging behaviors again and again.

I know what it’s like to feel so stuck in one of the deepest holes where you can’t even see the light.

I also know what it’s like for the biggest mountains to pop up along your journey to try to deter you away from your purpose.

And I know that you may even want to give up, but deep down you know that you can’t because God led you here on a mission.

He called you to be a Faith-Fueled CEO.
