  • 31 | How to Know When It’s Time to Grow Your Team (& What to Outsource First)

    I'm sure that you have probably heard many, many times that outsourcing is incredibly important for business growth. 


    That said though, I'm sure you've probably also wondered, “How do I know when it's time to outsource or hire into my team?”

    I'm sure you're also probably wondering, “What should I even outsource?” Then of course, how you actually do that and the process behind it.

    Whenever my business started growing, I kept hearing that I needed to outsource ASAP. The truth is, when I finally started growing, I grew pretty fast. I went from one 1:1 client to 12 1:1 clients in a matter of 3 months, and my income skyrocketed.

    I was already feeling pressure to maintain what I had built, which was a very heavy burden for me to carry. So, what did I do? Well, I hired too many people to do too many things too fast. Obviously, I didn't think that’s what I was doing at the time. I thought I was being wise and investing in the future of my business, and truthfully, I thought it was going to free up a ton of time.

    But guess what happened? This actually caused a lot more anxiety and actually made me feel a lot more pressure to maintain what I was doing, because now I had people that I needed to pay.

    Here’s the thing. Outsourcing is wonderful and I highly, highly, highly recommend it.

    I just outsourced too much, too fast.

    The truth is, I didn't know how to run a team, and I didn't know how to be a CEO. I knew how to be a content creator and a coach, but I didn't truly know how to run a company. Because I didn't know how to do that, even though I had a solid system for myself and for the processes, it was a bit of a disaster and was no longer in alignment with me.

    Slowly, I started just by posting a little bit here and there on my social media and sharing about what the Lord was teaching me in my life.   • 25 | STOP Charging Your Worth (What to Do Instead & How to Price Your Offers)

    Have you ever heard the phrase, "Charge your worth?"


    I hear this phrase constantly in the online space and if I'm being honest, it has just never sat well with me. When I first became an entrepreneur, I didn't know why it rubbed me the wrong way because a bunch of successful people were saying it... but... now I do.

    And in this episode, I'm sharing exactly why that is.

    In addition to that, I’m sharing exactly why I don’t believe you should charge your worth, what you can be doing instead & how to price your offers.

    I have a feeling this episode is going to create some mindset shifts for many people, so get ready.

    But first, let me paint a picture for you.

    I was in my first year of coaching and I was actually on a call with a potential mentor. I will never forget this because she told me that I needed to, “Charge my worth.”

    Now I'm going to be really honest. This phrase really rubbed me the wrong way, but I had no idea why at the time. And honestly, I made the decision not to work with that particular mentor specifically because it just really got to me.

    Friend, my worth is not tied to a dollar sign and neither is yours. I realize that while I'm sure she was terrific at her job, I believe that this phrase revealed to me her values and how she viewed her own identity.

    Have you ever felt STUCK in your business?

    When starting or owning your own business, it’s easy to fall into a feeling of either a lack of clarity or stuckness. But friend, if you are going through something like this right now, I want you to know that you are not alone. I have gone through this time and time again, and because of this, the Lord has revealed some things to me to get myself back on track and get out of my stuckness.

    There was about a 3-6 month chunk in my entrepreneurial journey where I just felt so overwhelmingly stuck. I felt so much resistance. I didn’t feel motivated to focus, or get things done. I had no energy to be productive and make headway on my goals.. I didn’t feel inspired to work, take action, or pursue my dreams. I felt so much imposter syndrome, and dealt with a ton of self-sabotaging tendencies, limiting beliefs, and negative thoughts. My mindset really was a hot mess.

    I felt as though I just wasn't supposed to pursue my business. However, while my thoughts were telling me no, I knew that wasn’t true. My spirit knew that I was supposed to be pursuing this business, because God had called me to it. 

    Yet, I was at war with myself.

    In one way, God was calling me to do something. Yet, I didn’t understand what I was supposed to do. I felt stuck. I didn’t feel creative anymore. I didn’t even know what to talk about anymore. I found myself spiraling so quickly

    If you are in that position right now, I want you to know that I understand, I hear you, I see you, and I love you. This is exactly why I'm sharing with you the 3 C’s that will help you get out of this mind funk on today’s episode.

    These are the exact things that the Lord has revealed to me over time that have gotten me out of that awful mind funk. And the amazing thing? He is revealing to me that I can do this at any point in time. And so can you.
