In Psalm 11, David expresses unwavering faith in the Lord as his refuge amid threats. He contemplates the moral decay surrounding him and reassures himself and others that the Lord sees all and will ultimately judge the righteous and the wicked.

Psalm 12 focuses on the prevalence of deceit and the longing for truth in a world filled with falsehood. David cries out to God for help, recognizing the fragility of human integrity and the assurance that God will respond to the cries of the faithful, preserving the words of the oppressed.

Together, these psalms highlight the struggles of maintaining faith in difficult times while trusting in God’s justice and protection

Psalms 9 and 10 are often considered as a single psalm due to their thematic continuity and the lack of a title for Psalm 10 in some manuscripts. Psalms 7 and 8 present contrasting yet complementary themes.
