Merriam Webster says Imposter Syndrome is, “a psychological condition that is characterized by persistent doubt concerning one's abilities or accomplishments accompanied by the fear of being exposed as a fraud despite evidence of one's ongoing success.”
In this episode I wanted to talk about Imposter Syndrome and how I believe it is one of the biggest obstacles we may face on our music journey. How many times have we not done something due to it? How many times have we compared ourselves to someone else and decided that we aren’t good enough and just quit? Although Imposter Syndrome can be tough, I wanted to share a couple of ways I believe we can overcome it and we can actually help others because of it.

Something I’ve been thinking a lot about lately is grit. Grit is something we need when we are both in the valleys and mountaintops, because in reality we are in the valleys the most. On this episode I wanted to break down the definition of grit and how it is such an important trait in regards to achieving our goals in music and life in general.

Called to Music — The Podcast for Christian Indie Artists, Worship Leaders, Songwriters and Producers
Called to Music is for everyone God called to music.
Whether…
Hosted by Bryan Boliver, each episode goes deep on the real journey of following a creative calling in faith. The highs, the hard seasons, the pressure to pick one lane, and the freedom that comes when you stop trying to fit in a box God never put you in.
Because you were never meant to fit in just one lane.
New episodes every other week.
