Called to Rise Podcast: Faith & Business for Christian Women

What if the biggest thing God wants from your business isn't a better strategy, but your yes?

In this episode of the Called to Rise Podcast, Autumn sits down with Kristie Hayes, founder of I Got a Seed, a quarterly faith-based subscription box for the woman who loves God but walks through hard days. Kristie shares the unforgettable story of a stranger who placed a mustard seed in her hand during the darkest season of her life, and how that moment became a business, a community, women's events, and retreats that are leading women back to Jesus.

Kristie gets real about building in her own strength through years of direct sales, the event nobody signed up for, and the day she told God, "You're the CEO, and I'm just the president." She and Autumn talk about trusting God with your business and your finances, learning to hear His voice, breaking down the walls we build after pain, and why five minutes with God can change everything.

If you've ever felt like God was asking you to do something that didn't make sense, this episode is your reminder: He doesn't need you to have it all figured out. He just needs your yes.

In this episode, we talk about:

• The mustard seed moment that started I Got a Seed
• Why every subscription box is prayed over before it ships
• What happened when Kristie made God the CEO of her business
• Hearing "You don't know 250 women, but I do" before her first event
• The failed event that taught her to keep God at the center
• Letting go of the belief that you can't make money doing God's work
• Forgiveness, healing, and breaking down the walls that keep God out
• Learning how God speaks to you, and taking one step at a time
• Why five minutes a day with God is a great place to start

What happens when an introvert who hates public speaking finally says yes to God? In this first episode of the Called to Rise Podcast, Autumn Hill shares her story, how Called to Rise came to be, and the heart behind this community for Christian women in business.

After more than 10 years in entrepreneurship, Autumn built her businesses the way the world told her to: in her own strength, chasing the next goal. In 2023, she surrendered everything to God and rebuilt with Jesus at the center. When He called her to start a community for Christian women in business, she said no for six months. This episode is the story of what happened when she finally said yes.

In this episode, you'll hear:

• Autumn's journey from hustle to surrender
• How Called to Rise was born out of obedience
• Why Christian women in business need community, not competition
• What building business God's way really looks like
• What's ahead for the podcast and the Called to Rise community

If you're a Christian entrepreneur who has ever wondered whether you can build a successful business and keep Jesus at the center, this episode is for you. You belong here.
