Marion was granted a license to preach in 1987 and graduated from Acadia Divinity College in 1992. She went on to work with the Department of Education and later as an educator in Detroit. Marion shares the challenges she faced in pursuing ordination, including racism, and how God has enabled her to serve no matter where she’s placed.

Elizabeth was ordained in 1989 at Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Fredericton. Marilyn was ordained in 1996 at Grand Bay Baptist Church. She has served in numerous churches and ministries, including children’s, youth, family, and music ministry. Marilyn shares about her experience with depression and how it impacted her work. Kimberly was ordained in 2001 at Cambridge Baptist Church. She has worked at the Moncton Crisis Pregnancy Center, in child protection services, and is now the Gander site pastor at The Crossing Church, Newfoundland. Jennifer was ordained in 2012 at The Journey Church in Moncton. She is now the lead pastor at The East Toronto Meeting House. Shirley McNally and her husband Hugh were Canadian Baptist missionaries to India. She describes some of the work they did and changes that have taken place in the Baptist world over the years. One interesting anecdote is Hugh's experience witnessing the ordination of Josephine Moore, who was the first woman ordained by the CBAC to pastoral ministry in 1954.
