Then it’s on to the week’s main event: previewing the Cincinnati Bengals helmed by the timeless wonder Joe Flacco—yes, that Joe Flacco—freshly anointed as starter at age 40. Expect jokes, some geriatric scouting, and an earnest look at why Cincy thinks the savvy vet can hold the fort. The fellas stack that against a Green Bay defense that—statistically!—has been elite vs. the pass (tops in yards per attempt) and top-five vs. the run, even if Dallas left bruises. Meanwhile, the Bengals’ pass D? Seventh worst by YPA. File under: opportunities.

Jordan “Trap Door” Love also gets his turn on the couch: somehow fourth in NFL passer rating (113!) despite one back-breaking pick that tanked the Browns game optics. The guys re-litigate how one throw can hijack a narrative, and they game out what a smart plan vs. Cincy’s shaky pass D should look like.

WR watch: Christian Watson returned to practice—no promises for Sunday, but decoy-deep shots to unlock Kraft? Discussed. (Also: do not “Zach Tom” him back onto the field.)

There’s a spirited mini-clinic on why passive, umbrella “prevent” looks drive fans insane, with shout-outs to aggressive DCs who actually send heat on money downs (Spags hive, rise).
