So, on the docket today, we have some interesting takes from around the N F L world, touching on our Packers, of course, and then a good bit of trash talk about our division rivals. Anywho, let's get into it.

First up, Andy Herman over at PackADay, he is raising some eyebrows about the Josh Jacobs situation. Herman said, quote, "this is not the normal procedure for a misdemeanor like this. Usually they let that play out and then cast judgment after that. But that's not the case with Josh Jacobs. Why that is, your guess is as good as mine. Are they hesitant about one of the charges? Do they have access to the video? Do they know something we don't know?" I am gonna be honest, folks, Herman has a point. It is not the normal procedure. When we talk about fairness and transparency in player discipline, the N F L often works in mysterious ways, and sometimes those ways feel a little bit like a double standard. If there is more to it, if there is video, if there is something they know, then it needs to come out, because otherwise, it just looks… off.

Alright, Packers fans… Cal Hutson here. And I gotta be honest with you. I don't know what Brian Gutekunst had for breakfast this morning… but apparently it was three cups of coffee, a Red Bull, and pure violence. Because GOOD LORD. What happened today?! I woke up thinking: "Okay. It's roster cut day. We're gonna find out who makes the 53." Normal NFL stuff. You know… You check Twitter. You see some guys get released.

You see some guys get waived.

Maybe you lose a guy you liked.

Maybe you celebrate somebody making the roster.

You move on with your day.

Nope.

Not in Green Bay.

Apparently Brian Gutekunst looked at the Packers roster and said:

Josh Jacobs is on the Commissioner's Exempt List. Official. The NFL put him there after the misdemeanor charges (battery and criminal damage to property) that came out of that May incident. He's paid, he can be around the facility for meetings and workouts with the team's permission, but he can't practice and he can't play. Only Roger Goodell can take him off it.

And suddenly this isn't just a roster-cut day anymore.

This is a completely different conversation.

First things first — Kyle McCord. The kid played the entire game. Jordan Love and Tyrod Taylor were in street clothes. McCord goes twenty-two of thirty-five, two hundred twenty-six yards, four touchdowns, zero interceptions. And he saves the best for last. Down eleven with under five minutes left, and he just starts dealing. Two touchdowns to Kisean Johnson in the final three and a half minutes. The second one with twenty seconds on the clock. That's the kind of moment that makes you sit up a little straighter on the couch.

Big Sal is still vibrating after the Packers' wild 42-38 preseason finale win over the Cardinals at Lambeau!

Kyle McCord throws FOUR touchdowns. Will Sheppard takes a punt 81 yards to the house. Kisean Johnson hauls in two clutch late scores. Down 11 with under 5 minutes left… and somehow Green Bay finds a way.

This was pure chaos, roster-bubble magic, and pure Packers heart. Big Sal breaks it all down the only way he knows how — loud, unhinged, and full of stories.
