CALLING EUROPE

In the 2020 year review special episode, Eileen and Karam co-moderate an episode for the first time. They talk to Valerie and Reinier, Volteuropa's Co-Presidents, about their personal histories and humble beginnings with Volt and reflect on the impact of Covid on Volt's work. While Reinier is proud of the evolution of Volt Netherlands, Valerie shares her thoughts on the question of the empowerment of women in politics and even sings a song at the end ;).

This time Eileen talks to Vincent Busch. Vincent is responsible for Volt’s European Discord acitivities and explains how discord works, why it makes sense for a political party to use a Discord server, especially in pandemic times. This time we have a very special episode as we talk with our new Calling Europe project manager Olga Devine from Austria. And it’s the first episode, in which we work with translator. That's why it took a little longer this time. Olga (translated by co-host Karam) talks to Eileen about the elections in Vienna, the challenges in Austria and her ideas for the next national elections.
