It is an honor to present the one year anniversary episode of Calling Old Hollywood, with my guest, James Dean's cousin Mr.Marcus Winslow and later in the episode, James Dean's best friend in life, Mr.Lew Bracker.
It was a great pleasure to travel to Fairmount, Indiana hometown of Jimmy, and record this episode with Marcus whilst on the farm they both grew up on.
Marcus was gracious to share his personal memories of his cousin James Dean, who was like a brother to him. We discuss everything from the town of Fairmount, to Jimmy's Acting and racing, the impact he's had on the world, how Marcus would like Jimmy to continue to be remembered, the photos Dennis Stock took of the two when Markie was just a boy, and so much more. We also have a very special guest Lew Bracker towards the end of the episode, whom Marcus and Lew both share stories of their own friendship and bond, and life with and without Jimmy.
