Instructions on Marriage - on this episode we will spend time diving into Ephesians 5:22-33 and understanding what it means to not only submit yourself as a wife to your husband but also the importance of a husband loving his wife with a sacrificial love.

Are you allowing your Husband to fulfill the role that God has given Him?

I know the word “submit” can be scary and sometimes many try to tiptoe around it but it can also be the key to creating a happy and beautiful marriage working as a team to serve one another and love each other exactly how God loves us. You are called to serve, Pray and submit yourself to your husband in order to allow them to step into this God-given role where they will flourish and thrive to their fullest.

Do you find it hard to submit to your husband, do you find yourself in constant prayer for him, do you serve him with grumbles and complains or with a servants heart? Let’s talk more about what all of this looks like and how we are called to serve biblically.

What kind of environment are you creating at home? Specifically the one your spouse is walking into after being away all day. Are you happy to see him? Is he happy to see you? Through this episode I hope to encourage you to look at your home like a sanctuary for not only you and your kids but most importantly your spouse.

We’ll discuss further into finding your community through church while also not letting your identity lie within the church. It’s so important that your relationship with God is solid outside of the church. Have you been hurt by people in the church before, giving the idea that the church itself has hurt you? I have. I’ll share a little bit of what brought me out of that and what has helped us find the church we now call home.

There’s a season for everything. I can give you all of these examples and way I try to implement them all into my everyday life but the truth is, it’s never consistent! You figure out what you can handle in the now and give yourself grace for the rest.

What does managing motherhood and prioritizing look like for your family? On this episode we will be discussing where our priorities should be, while also giving ourselves grace in the ever changing seasons of life.
