Calling Water

Today’s episode “Perfect in Weakness,” is a sermon from Thanksgiving 2020 based on 2 Corinthians 12:7-10. It’s a reminder for us to never cease giving thanks — even for the “thorns” in our flesh — because it is through these weaknesses we learn to trust and rely on our perfect God.

In today’s episode “Your Servant is Listening,”  we’re looking at 1 Samuel 1 and 3 about Hannah’s prayer for and dedication of Samuel, and what this story tells us about serving God.

In today’s episode “All She Had to Live On”  we’re looking at the stories of two different widows in 1 Kings 17 and Mark 12, and what they teach us about trusting in God and being trustworthy ourselves.

In today’s episode “A Piece of Broken Pottery,” we’re finishing up the story of Job with another look at Job’s friends and their attempts to fix his problems. In today’s episode “Too Wonderful for Me,”  we’re looking at the epilogue to Job’s story in Job 42, and what his entire narrative teaches us about the things God gives.
