Family secrets are something that everyone has in common. We all have them, whether they're big or little, they're right there, waiting to catch you when you least expect it. Well, in a new short from M. Legend Brown, Kissed by The Devil, those secrets prove to be something that you might not want to hear...or believe.

It all begins with Oakland. Her father's in jail for killing her mother, but he won't explain to her why he did it. His plan is to explain it to her the day before he's going to be executed for the crime. Oakland takes care of her brother, Michael, who's been terrifically scared by the event, which happened when they were children. Now, on the eve of her father's execution, Oakland finds out why her father did what he die and it may not be a secret that she's prepare to live with.
