Booker Taliaferro Washington (April 5, 1856 – November 14, 1915) was an American educator, author, orator, and political leader. He was the dominant figure in the African American community in the United States from 1890 to 1915. He was representative of the last generation of black leaders born in slavery and spoke on behalf of blacks living in the South. Washington was able throughout the final 25 years of his life to maintain his standing as the major black leader because of the sponsorship by powerful whites, substantial support within the black community, his ability to raise educational funds from both groups, and his accommodation to the social realities of the age of Jim Crow segregation

Glen Scott

Songwriter/singer Glen Scott was signed by Hidden Beach Recordings after he and his band performed an electrifying showcase from his home studio in Stockholm, Sweden, which was broadcast live via iChat to the label's headquarters in Santa Monica at 9 AM in the morning. He blew away label head Steve McKeever and about a dozen staffers and was signed a few weeks later.

The film stars Bette Davis as Margo Channing, a highly regarded but aging Broadway star. Anne Baxter plays Eve Harrington, a willingly helpful young fan who insinuates herself into Channing's life, ultimately threatening Channing's career and her personal relationships. George Sanders, Celeste Holm, Hugh Marlowe, Barbara Bates, Gary Merrill and Thelma Ritter also appear, and the film provided one of Marilyn Monroe's earliest important roles.

Praised by critics at the time of its release, All About Eve was nominated for 14 Academy Awards (a feat that was unmatched until the 1997 film, Titanic) and won six, including Best Picture. As of 2010, All About Eve is still the only film in Oscar history to receive four female acting nominations (Davis and Baxter as Best Actress, Holm and Ritter as Best Supporting Actress). Although predated by the short lived Lincoln Motion Picture Company that put out smaller films, he is regarded as the first African-American feature filmmaker, and the most prominent producer of race films.

Harriet Tubman (born Araminta Ross; c. 1820 or 1821 – March 10, 1913) was an African-American abolitionist, humanitarian, and Union spy during the American Civil War. After escaping from slavery, into which she was born, she made thirteen missions to rescue more than 70 slaves using the network of antislavery activists and safe houses known as the Underground Railroad. She later helped John Brown recruit men for his raid on Harpers Ferry, and in the post-war era struggled for women's suffrage.

George Washington Carver (January 1864 – January 5, 1943), was an American scientist, botanist, educator, and inventor. The exact day and year of his birth are unknown; he is believed to have been born before slavery was abolished in Missouri in January 1864.

Much of Carver's fame is based on his research into and promotion of crops as alternatives to cotton, such as peanuts and sweet potatoes. He wanted poor farmers to grow alternative crops both as a source of their own food and as a source of other products to improve their quality of life. The most popular of his 44 practical bulletins for farmers contained 105 food recipes that used peanuts. He also created or disseminated[clarification needed] about 100 products made from peanuts that were useful for the house and farm, including cosmetics, dyes, paints, plastics, gasoline, and nitroglycerin.

Dana Dane (born Dana McLeese) is an American hip hop artist known for performance of humorous lyrics (imitating a British accent) and for his fashion sense. He was born in the Walt Whitman housing project in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, in New York City, and began his career as part of the Kangol Crew with fellow MC Slick Rick, to whom he sounded markedly similar, although Slick Rick's English lilt was actually genuine. His biggest hit in the United States was "Cinderfella Dana Dane", which peaked at #11 on Billboard magazine's R&B charts in 1987. His debut album peaked at #46 on the Billboard album chart and was certified gold by the RIAA. After a long stint at the legendary Profile Records, where he was one of that label’s core artists, he recorded briefly for Rap-A-Lot Records, where he didn’t release anything, and at Madonna’s Maverick Records, where he released his last album to date in 1995. He is also in the midst of marrying Tana Session with her son Brandon Thompson the crew Shurykin which consists of Mario Smith and Clay John which play a huge roll in Brandon,Dana, and Tana's life.
