The story of Leah in the Bible, in regards to her relationship with Jacob and her sister Rachel, can cause one to feel her pain and suffering. WE can also see why rejection is so cruel and should be avoided. The Bible's focus on Leah is on her rejection because she was tender eyed. She was rejected by man, but loved and favored by God. In Leah's life, we see a portrait of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jesus said that those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled. Righteousness is not like Wisdom. Wisdom stands and calls for those who desire her to come and get her, but not Righteousness. Righteousness says, if you want me, you have to seek for me if you want to be filled by me.
