Jesus has something to say to the church that is undergoing persecution. We do not always escape trials in this life but how we respond to them is important to Him. We need to learn to respond in faith, informed by the word of God. 

Sometimes you can be so right that you are wrong. In an attempt to be precisely correct, we can forget love and grace. As we look at this letter to the church in Ephesus, that is where they are at. The Christian walk is a balancing act, and every once in a while we can find ourselves “out of balance” these letters in Revelation 2 and 3, help us get back to a healthy balance. #revelation #Jesus #biblestudy

In todays lesson, we get a clear vision of Jesus, not as He was in His humanity, but as He is in glory. It’s important that we see Him, not just as the Suffering Servant, but also as the coming King.

While the text of Revelation does describe the end of the world as we know it, there is something far greater that it communicates. It’s the uncovering not just of what is yet to come, but primarily WHO is yet to come. It reveals the truth about the second coming of Jesus and the ultimate victory of God and Christ’s church over sin, death, and the passing world system. As we conclude this short letter, Jude continues to give us descriptions of the false teachers and influencers who have made their way into the church, he also gives us instructions on how to continue our own progress in the Lord. #forthefaith
