The helmet of salvation is the fifth part of the armor of God. It’s a Possession you must Have; it Protects your Head and it Provides Hope.

Because we are under aggressive attack from Satan, we must put on the shield of faith. This faith should be complete and should affect everything in our lives. In addition, our faith is strengthened by the community of other Christians.

The boots are the third part of the armor of God. The boots symbolize the Gospel of peace.

Because our eternal home is worth it, coming home is marked by confession, restoration and celebration.

The first two parts of the full armor of God are the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness. The belt symbolizes preparedness, permanence and productivity while the breastplate symbolizes protection.

Because we are in a real fight—not against flesh and blood but against evil spiritual forces, we should take up the full armor of God and stand firmly.

Before entering the fight, we have to depend on God’s strength and be dressed for battle.

As slaves of Christ, our work should reflect submission, sincerity, strenuousness and a splendid attitude, as someone serving Christ rather than society.

While the child should obey and honor the parents, parents should not provoke their children but bring them up in the Lord.

The marriage relationship includes parts to play, purposes for these parts, and should be a picture of the relationship between Christ and the church.
